Customers recognize that your QMS has been verified by a third-party registrar providing confidence that your company will be responsive when and if issues arise.
The requirements for achieving ISO 9001 certification are presented in a document published by the International Standards Organization. This document, referred to as the ISO 9001:2015 Standard, addresses quality management and quality assurance by providing a framework for successful business operation including aspects of business management both mandatory and optional. Incorporating these elements with your existing processes is basically all that is required. As an ANAB accredited registrar, AMTec provides initial guidance in determining how you will need to proceed toward certification. We will determine, based on your current certification status, what steps are required and what tasks need to be completed on your end. For first-time certifications, we will perform a prelimiary review of your system to determine your level of readiness. Once certified, your company will be reviewed on a regular basis to verify continued conformity to the standard.
You have the right to transfer your registration to a new registrar at any time during a certification cycle. If you’re dissatisfied with any aspect of your current partnership, contact AMTec. There is no added cost involved in a transfer and the process is simple. You must be currently certified and in good standing with an accredited registrar.
